This is a love poem:
Sweet spring leak out, hangs shade all Yuan coverlet. ROM with heavy,

double phoenix, of gold.

Outside the window, on coming. Heartbroken, one is negative.

Night where people forever, and cast away to sound. Incense, eyebrow

yan, will sink convergence.

Do not stand against the coverlet, hatred solitary. In my heart, as you

know, beginning in yi deep.
http://www.2ued.com

Jay: Insightful article & thanks for taking the time to share. Andrew: As always, thanks for bring it to us.

I have been digging into the Open Social Virtual Currency Project currently being developed principally by Google engineers See: http://tinyurl.com/cku2gl & http://bit.ly/iPT0K - This could herald the birth of the GoogleDollar: G$ (!) [and other alt currencies] and a more level, accountable, playing field.

@AAinslie

Jay -- this is a very thoughtful article and one that raises several important issues of which we here at Offerpal Media are well aware. You’re right in that there are conceptual similarities between what we do and the incentivized marketing companies from years ago, but the base strategy and execution couldn’t be more different. Whereas those companies “churned and burned” through advertisers (and, admittedly, some of our competitors have shown a similar inclination), we treat our advertiser relationships with the highest priority and very proactively manage the quality of the leads we deliver. The term “Managed Offer Platform” was meant to imply exactly that – that we manage the offers, not just for conversions but for quality as well. Part of how we accomplish this is through our very sophisticated targeting engine, which uses proprietary algorithms to target individual consumers based on rich demographic and behavioral data. Because of the sheer volume of ads in our system – we have over 2,500 and counting – there are bound to be several offers that the consumer would be interested in taking part in anyway. The key is delivering the most relevant and interesting offers to the right consumers at the right time, which is precisely what our platform is built to do. We also have several mechanisms in place to prevent fraud, validate data and improve lead quality -- mechanisms the earlier marketers never bothered to implement. And that’s just the beginning -- look for major product announcements from us in the near future addressing these very issues. In the end, our track record speaks for itself, and it shows that we have been delivering large volumes of leads/customers to our advertising clients (many of which we work with directly) for well over a year now, and not only do they keep coming back for more, they continually increase their orders. So you’re right that we must take lessons from the past, but it would be incorrect to assume that we are destined to repeat history’s mistakes.
