Trying out a new widget called Askablogr

For people who have this on RSS, please click to see my blog

I’m trying out a new widget called Askablogr, which appears on the left pane. If you click on it, you can ask me a question, which I’ll then answer. (Maybe)

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Wow– neat idea… Lousy new user flow.

I wrote a question, hit the submit/ask button and it took me to a sign-up page. Did my question go through? Does it disappear into the ether if I choose not to sign up?

Thanks for giving it a shot, Tony. You’re absolutely right about the user flow for new users, esp folks who just want to ask a question. The focus of next sprint is a lighter process for askers that lets them submit questions w/o registration and then circles back to offer full reg.

Underwhelmed thus far. Harder than just leaving a question here in comments or by sending you an email.

It’s not as instantaneous as G-chat or IM.
