Big exits for New York consumer internet startups?

Dear lazyweb,

What was the last 9-figure ($100MM+) exit for a New York based company specializing in consumer internet?

For some reason, I’m having trouble thinking of one…

Thanks!
Andrew

Hmmm I know of Quigo, but it’s not consumer internet – Quigo’s an ad network. (By that count, Tacoda/Quigo/DCLK/etc are all winners..)

I’m just looking for straight consumer internet.

    Andrew,

The last confirmed acquisition that I am aware of was Getty’s purchase of WireImage for $200M in early 2007. Here are some other notable consumer internet acquisitions in 2007:

    - TheStreet.com sells minority stake for $55M
    - Hearst buys RealAge for a rumored $100M+
    - Fotolog acquired for $90M
    - Hearst buys UGO for a rumored $100M+
    - Getty buys WireImage for $200M

That’s so cool. I haven’t updated myself about all these lately. So, thanks for the heads up.
